‘Change It!’ Forum Theatre for young offenders and those at risk of offending - the life story of an ex-offender, devised by the coompany
Our last work toured twice in London reaching over 1,000 young people. Follow-up workshops in two schools have produced new work with students.
Forum Theatre Training for professionals.
In October we will be running a two day training in the techniques of the Theatre of the Oppressed. This will cover all the way to make a piece of Forum Theatre to performance standard.
More Funding to do our work:
In September 2009 we were given more funding by the Capital Community Fund; this was our second award from CCF.
In May 2009 further funding was secured from Awards for All.
December 2008 -Pindrop Theatre was awarded a grant by the Capital Community Foundation.
Autumn 2008 - “Shine”
Shine - the culmination of a community project based in Penryn and Falmouth for young parents and young people not in education. Brought to you by pindroptheatre and funded by the local network fund for children and young people as well as the Cornwall Community Foundation. Produced by Catherine Pinhorn of pindroptheatre, written by Sylvi Johnson and set to a song by the inimitable Brian White.
